Simms is an unincorporated community in Bowie County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Texarkana, Texas–Texarkana, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.The Simms Independent School District serves area students.The picnic area on US 67 just east of Simms was developed in the Depression era. It is one of the 30+ best preserved of these sites statewide.
